It has been a great semester for WMLU, lots of remotes, lots of shows even some sports broadcasting. The biggest event that WMLU puts on is coming up soon also! Keep a weather eye on Facebook and this site for more announcements about BANDFEST! this year!
On a different note, since we are nearing the end of the semester, the FINAL date for REMOTE REQUESTS, this semester, is MONDAY APRIL 6!!! We can NOT do any remotes after Reading Day, APRIL 25. However, we can still accept Public Service Announcements until the end of the semester!
Keep that dial on WMLU 91.3 frequency modulation, and it's never too late in the semester to join! Meetings are in Hiner 207 at 9 pm on Sundays! BANDFEST IS COMING!!!! APRIL 17!!!!

WMLU Is Winding Back Up For The Semester
Well it has been a very busy semester already for WMLU and its never been a better time to be a DJ! We have new equipment coming in soon to expand our Remotes options and hopefully that means that no on will be turned down! Sports Broadcasting is on FIRE with our Teamline coming from Willet Hall and even from the Virginia Tech campus for an away game! Look for us at Basketball Games now and at Baseball Games once the season starts!
We are still taking Public Service Announcements as before so if you are a Longwood organization or non-profit in our listening area, feel free to submit a form to have your event or cause announced on air! Direct links to the form are in the box to the right. We are also taking requests for our on-campus DJs so if you are looking for music for your event feel free to send our Remotes Director an email!
Meetings are still in the Hiner Auditorium on Sundays at 9pm so if you want to be a DJ, on-campus DJ, Newscaster, Sportscaster, help out with Bandfest, or have a passion for music; definitely come out!
Keep rocking Longwood and we look forward to serving you with great music and events!
